In the afternoon, Lillian and her mother came to the hotel. They will kindly take us to Victoria Peak to enjoy so famous night view. |

This is Central Square. The old building is the Legislature. There are so many Filipino maids around the building. They returned home on Christmas vacation. Lillian said much more maids are here and there on usual holidays.
We will go up to the top by a mini-bus. Beyond the street is Bank of China soaring high in the blue sky. | ![]() |

A mini-bus gasped narrow winding steep slop up to the Peak passing by huge mansions and high-class hospitals. We will wait here until dark. |

Dusk has awaked the town. It is very cold, but the scene is awesome. I was moved by the wonderful view of "Jewel of Orient."
Long lines in the bus terminal feared us. We took a taxi down. On way back, the taxi driver stopped at a view point for a short time. | ![]() |

The last dinner in Hong Kong was of Hong Kong style hot pot in a restaurant funny named as "Fat fat hot pod." Mr. Kenny and Ms. May joined the party. There are many kinds of spices. Ground shrimp or fish dumplings, sliced beef, and other unusual ingredients are dipped instantly into boiling soup. I joked "The taste is so great and I may become 'Fei fei (fat, fat)." Kenny and May laughed, saying, "You have spoken a piece of Cantonese at last!"

A large billboard stretched out over the street. My body was completely warmed up by the tasty hot pod cuisine. |
Lillian and Kenny saw me off at the hotel. This is the last chance to say thank you. Next time, see you again in Japan! |
