On February 20, my husband Ken hesitatingly ventured to join the 4th cooking class for men. As usual, he purchased ingredients he has just learned at the class on the way back home at a super market. Last time, he couldn't cook an omelet. smartly. This is because, he excuses, he at last bought a new omelet pan to make it in today's recipe. Pork, crab meat, eggs, green pies, bean sprouts, and leeks make me wonder what he will prepare for a dinner. Since we will go to a concert tonight, he will cook it tomorrow evening. |

Now, it's time to cook after a lot of excuses. My husband said without confidence "I will make something tasty for dinner." He is eager to use the new omelet pan. What was mysterious, he first ignited the range. "Wait a minute! You should prepare all the ingredients first, right?" I couldn't but call at him. He agreed and followed my advice to make an omelet to be used in making marinated bean sprouts. This time, he made so-and-so omelet. He glumly said "Well tools are the key to better cooking." |

Tonight, he challenges "Fried rice." He sliced all ingredients and prepared all seasonings. He is busy to consult with the instruction and heating a big deep frying pan simultaneously. |

He appeals me, "Watch this procedure, my excellent skill." He swings back and forth the frying pan and cut-and- mix the rice. |

Well all dishes are ready for serve. I helped him by adding a dish of strawberry as a dessert. From left, "Men's soup", marinated bean sprouts with omlet, strawberry, Chinese pickles, and Chinese-style fried rice as today's main dish. My evaluation: Marinated bean sprouts was tasty, Men's soup was acceptable, and the main dish was not-so-hard to digest. Thank you Ken, I hope you can make the recipe whenever you want. |
