March 15-18, 2006: Old guests from Germany (Part2)
It has stopped raining this morning. My mother and I got up early in the morning and walked out. My mother cerebrated her 88 years old in this January. She holds a stick but is still very good.
My dear small town.
After the breakfast, my mother set a simple tea ceremony in Mr.Klaus' room.
She prepared tea ceremony tools in advance. Mr. Klaus enjoyed the tea.
Ms. Kaeko and I walked out after the ceremony and crossed Ibo river.
The suspension bridge swung a little but local people never mind and passed by bicycle. Some Yakata-Fune(Sightseeing boat) were moored on the river.
After seeing off them, we visited my father's graveyard.
Around noon, we got back to my mother house. It was very warm today and the cherry blossoms were about to bloom.
Tatsuno park is famous for its cherry blossoms.
Old cherry trees were here and there.
We took a simple lunch in the park.
As the weather was so beautiful, we decided to drive around the area. We headed south and came up to a rape blossom field.
We felt as if we were dyed yellow.
Shinmaiko is my old bathing beach.
Murotsu is an old fishing port once flourished in Edo era.
Ume blooms on the sunny hills.
Aioi port.
Beautiful flowers in my mother's garden.
In the evening, we headed to Kobe port to catch a return ferry boat.
We arrived at Oita next noon.
Oita was in the slight rain.

This week, we could spend a pleasant time with the guests from east and west. See you again, all my good friends.
