December 17, 2000: Christmas party
Many children and mothers come to Oita Group of Friends House one after another to join a Christmas party for children.

As an award of coming here vividly, a piece of stained glass cookie is hung down from the Christmas tree on the wall. Each child also gets a golden-bell-shaped nametag on the chest.
On the window glasses are the stained glass type cut-out illustrations of the tale of "The birth of Jesus Christ." Many Christmas ornaments are everywhere in the room.

After a few words by a member of the Group, all good children listened to a tale "What is Christmas?"
After listening to a story of Bangladesh children, we made a Christmas collection.

Then children played music of "Hasty Santa Clause" with bells, pairs of maracas, and triangles. A pleasant time went on.
During the music play, moms prepared tea and snack dishes using homemade Chiffon cakes, fruits topped with whip cream.
After a pray, mothers and children enjoyed a teatime.

Children nodded to make a promise that they would tell their fathers and families what they have learned today. Each child was happy to get a piece of twig decorated with stained glass cookies as a present.
