December 15, 2000: Shivering frosty morning |

Today, we had the coldest morning in this winter. I found thin frost on the weeds by the roadside. |
| Radiation cooling phenomena brought frost
on the grass. I think the temperature went
down below zero C in the dawn. The soil of
my kitchen garden is hardened by the coldness
as well. In daytime, the warm sun smiled at us with the beautiful clear sky, however. |
