|
The 25th Yufuin Music Festival is coming in two weeks. Today, we had a kick-off meeting for the volunteer staff at Kitayama Japanese restaurant on Hananoki Street in Yufuin. Mr. Masakuni Kato, the general secretariat of the festival, made a few words and proposed a toast. |

Before long, people flock here and there enjoying pleasant chatting that combine the hearts of the staff toward the festival. |

Some new staffs were introduced. On the left is Miss Sumitani from Ishikawa prefecture. She wanted to learn how to boost a community and now working as a member of Yufuin Sightseeing Office. "I have been longing for the community of Yufuin. I would be very happy if I could learn something from my stay in this wonderful town" she said. |

In this corner, some staffs who have been working for a long time look back the history of the festival that has continued as much as 25 years. One of the old staffs showed an old program 17 years ago. I hope from my deepest heart that the festival will be wonderful one as usual. |
