June 10: The 25th YMF staff meeting

The steering committee held last day was followed by the first
staff meeting of today at the usual tea room
Kotokotoya in Yufuin. As it was recommended to bring
something eat, I have prepared cinnamon roll
bread for it. |

Mr. Kunpei Mizoguchi, president of
Tamanoyu Hotel, makes a few words saying "Let do our
best to make the commemorative festival successful."

Mr. Kato explained about the artists and program of this time festival. He also stressed
that our YMF is one of the oldest music festivals
in Japan. I am very proud of being involved
in it as a staff. |

After the self introduction of the staffs
joined tonight, we enjoyed brought-in foods
and then discussed how to prepare for the
festival. On this table, staffs are talking
about the materials, transportation, and
setting up the sites. Printing materials
will be prepared by Mr. Miyazaki, in white
shirt, from Beppu city. He also brought in
Tomonaga's tasty bread. |

On the other table female members are discussing
eagerly how to set up the reception table,
tea stand, shopping corner, and welcome party
together with visitors and artists. We have
many things to do by the day such as time
scheduling, man power allocation, and ticket
gathering. |
|
At another counter, Mr. Sato who is in charge
of accounting concentrates on the financial
planning of the festival. He is also busy
for preparing for the NPO application that
may Give authority to our YMF. |
 
Popular T-shirts are ready now. They are
checked by number and color, and sorted for
sale at the shopping corner. Each staff bought
a favorite T-shirt tonight.

We will become busier from now, let's keep
ourselves healthy for the preparation of
the festival. Next meeting will be held on
