May 20: Flowers around Mt. Waita

Wisteria is blooming at its best here in the highland. The flower has already gone long ago in my garden. The climate of the hillside is cool, anyway.
    

From left: spring bellflower, buttercup, and fringed galax (Shortia soldanelloides.) All of them are tiny and lovely.
Miyama-Kirishima, or wild azalea; literally meaning "Deep mountain of Kirishima - a name of mountain in Kagoshima prefecture, southern Japan.)
Butterbur sprouts have already fully opened and scattering their seeds around the trail.
