Japanese April 19, 2006: Spring sun on a whim |
|
I visited Tenjin of Fukuoka from Oita by a highway bus. The cherry leaves visible from my home has already turned to green, but I could see beautiful cherry trees in full blossom around Kusu area.
Local Shangri-La. | |
In less than two hours, Fukuoka international airport came into my sight. You can fly out to the world from here.
The sea port of Fukuoka. A Super Cameria boat was at anchor.
Central Tenjin was beautifully dressed up with street flower boxes.
Hello, pansy and poppy.
A median was very good as well.
I arrived at Fukuoka GOF house at last. Fresh green welcomed me.
Spring green stencil dye cloths were on display.
Delicate table cloths.
Warm colored Japanese Obi (belt)
Vest made from Japanese paper.
Gentle cloths were here and there.
Spring flowers enjoyed the warm April air.
Red azalea attracted the visitors' attention on the
stage. Hakata, the capital of Kyushu Island, was filled with full spring. |
