March 27, 2005: Farewell party
We had a farewell party for one of my close friends whose husband was job relocated. We all had made a trip to Korea last year from Oita and Fukuoka prefecture and became good friend since then.
The site was one of their house in which a cooking class was regularly held. Some eating utensils were of wonderful Italian Mimosa pattern that made the table brilliant.
We all enjoyed chatting by preparing the dish.
The table was beautifully set up with the back ground of fine music.
We have been friend just for a half year but we have already in a very good atmosphere.
Wonderful dishes today.
Smoked salmon covered with cream cheese dotted with Kipper.
Potato and minced beef gratin.
Fruit salad of grape, mushroom, and aroma vegetables with the dressing of yogurt and grain mustard.
Refreshing salad.
Soup boiling of chicken and onion.
It was raining strongly outside of the house and looked very cold but the heated air filled the room. All the members were very good people.
The dessert. was crispy chocolate cake and coffee.
The special souvenir today was Korean "Hot pepper chocolate." It was hot a little.
"We eat too much" but we continued to eat more cake.
We haven't been so long time friend each other. We have met just several times but it was so hard to say good-bye. We at last confirmed to see again sometime somewhere. I hope all of us go well from now on.
