Early March brings me warmer spring than ever. Today, I visited Saeki City to join a concert sponsored by "Group MI" run by one of my close friends.
I drove down to the city after a long absence. The Banjou River flows through the city with abundant warm water. |
Saeki was once a castle town of Mouri. The castle was on the small hill (140 meter high) called "Castle Hill." The gate was used for a school of the feudal domain, and now an entrance gate of Saeki elementary school. | ![]() |

The concert will be held here modern Saeki Cultural Hall (left.) The San-no-maru gate still boasts of its massive style. We can climb to the top of hill from the right side of the Hall.

I found a beautiful castle near the Hall. No, what was surprising, this is a rest room.
Cherry trees are everywhere in the site. They have already held many buds waiting to bloom. | ![]() |
The spring-calling concert by Group AMI has started finally. Fresh artists sing in soprano or play piano.

The final program of the day was by Ms. Takahashi, my close friend. She dressed up with a brilliant veil over black dress.

She played Eight small composites #1, #2, and #7 from number 76 by Brahms. I was really fascinated with her art. | ![]() |
