Many people we saw in Tokyo under the key word of COARA (part 1.) by Mie | |

On 17, we visited Glocom at Roppongi in Tokyo. On the left is Mr. Miyao with whom I met at the lecture in Suwa city last autumn. He attended Beppu Bay Conference(BBC) held last November. He told me much about CAN, Community Area Network. Mr. Kumon, the president of Glocom, was down in bed because of cold. I am very sorry, take care. Mr. Aoyagi, vice president kindly explained about the activities of Glocom and CAN in detail. He joined the BBC as well. I suppose many members of COARA know him well. |
| Mr. Aoyagi's room. A great amount of documents, indeed! Thank you for your precious time. Please come again to Oita. |

Mr. Miyao's room, or the room of CAN. He points a small lovely illustration which seems to be a portrait of him, but it is too dark to identify it. |
On 17th evening, we met Mr. Tsukamoto of New York who stays in Tokyo on business.
As we were strangers here in Tokyo, he suggested me a good fish restaurant in Ark Hill of Akasaka. It is unusual that a New Yorker tell us a point-of-interest in Tokyo.

He came to Tokyo early this month on business. He has been very busy by making business in Korea as well. We talked much over delicious dishes like Sashimi, boiled radish, marinated yam, and Chirashizushi(vinegared rice topped with fish, vegetables, egg, and various other ingredients.) It will be very nice to have a chance to make a "New York off" in the near future. He will still be busy in packing his belongings for tomorrow morning departure. |
