Thank you very much for coming to the concert today. Owing exclusively to
the warm teaching of Mr. Sanzaemon Takara, a human national treasure, the fourth
head of house, our Oita Japanese flute Club can open the second concert this time.Ms. Hyakka Fukuhara, the top female player, also appears on the stage. All of us greatly appreciate her play with us. I appreciate from my heart that we can have a marvelous chance to play owing to the many great teachers who play important rolls in various fields of art.
In this time, Mr. Mitsuyoshi Karashima kindly composed a folklore called "Monkey reed." Ms. Itakura also enriched the concert by conducting Angels, a kid chorus group.
Although I am still learning, I would like to make my best efforts, along with my members, to develop the traditional musical performance of Japanese flute under the warm support of all the people who are interested in the art. Today, we will do our best. We are very happy if you give your favor to us to the last moment of the concert.
