We have had the last meeting of Group of Friends in this fiscal year. We discussed about the activities we had done this year. Since we have been making efforts to be able to sew smock apron, we introduced the result each other today. It was very funny to see that some of the members were still struggling with assembling the sleeve using basting thread. We also enjoyed "Chirashi-sushi" prepared by the members in charge.

I gave a lecture today upon request of Oita University Information Center under the title of "The Internet expands my life." I spoke to the audience, "Personal computer is a wonderful gadget that connects people each other, allowing them to send out what they want to appeal. Let's expand our view point by doing so." I gave this lecture by using a PC but it was somewhat complicated to match the timing of the screen and my speech. I was very glad to know that many students listened to me eagerly and I got a lot of questions.

COARA office periodically opens "Internet Tea Party for Female" which already counts five times in Oita area. The first party was finally held in a wonderful hotel in Fukuoka. I joined it as a teacher. The party was actually a sort of study hours in a smart atmosphere served with tea and cake. Many people enjoyed it and learned much. I stayed the night at the hotel and visited COARA office Tenjin branch next day.
