From 13th through 15th of August, we will have "Bon", or "All soul's day" to worship the ancestors. People come back to homeland from their living sites to meet parents and relatives. On 13th, we visit the grave to pray and call the spirits of departed ancestors back to home.On 15th evening, we put them on the small miniature boats with offerings and a paper lantern lighted by a candle inside. The boats depart from a river bank, drifting out to the sea, and finally to a shore of the other world.
