May 20: President Franklin D.Roosevelt's Home in Hudson valley | |
|
We found a small private run motel named Roosevelt Inn in Hyde Park, NY. This is the rent-a-car, a reddish brown medium sized Fort. |

Why the motel is called "Roosevelt Inn" ? Because there is Roosevelt House nearby. The House stands on a vast site of the scenic hill along Hudson valley. An in-house elevatore was provided for the president who used a wheel chair in his last days. The back yard of the House goes down toward Hudson river afar. Ther is the grave yard of the presidents on the premises. |

May 20, evening In the evening, we visited Tanglewood, a famouse summer resort of Boston Symphony Orchestra. This is the entrance. The place is open until dusk. On the left, a large photograph of a conductor, of course, Seiji Ozawa. |
![]() | Today, we stayed at a clean motel in Burlington, MA. We bought food at a supermarket nearby and took them in the room in a relaxed atmosphere. |
