 Oita city is a sister city of Aveiro, Portugal.In commemoration with it, a sailing boat model is displayed at the mall of Galleria, Takemachi shopping arcade. Oita Flower Festival was held in the mall. Many communities displayed their special flowers on a big map of Oita prefecture. All of the beautiful and luxurious flowers are the products in Oita. | |
 A flower arrangement show is about to start.
There are many baskets with a sponge flowerbed in each of them. People put beautiful flowers on the bed to complete the work. You can see many completed flower baskets in front of the stage. The flower baskets are for sale to the visitors at a special low price. Oita Flower Production Cooperative sponsors the Festival.
The main theme of the year is "Gardening." People display many flowerbeds with full of red, yellow, and blue flowers. | |
