June 4, 2006: The 14th anniversary "Seaside Afternoon Tea Party"
Paddington Tea Room has cerebrated its 14th anniversary on May 30.
In commemoration of the birthday, we had an afternoon tea party sponsored by Kantan Circus.
Paddington Tea Room's student prepared the party.
Many tea items were displayed beautifully.
The artists have rehearsed the play many times for the opening.
The cakes to be served for the guests today.

The dishes were beautifully set up at last.
The scones were dressed up with homemade strawberry jam and herb cream.
Before two in the afternoon, the guests gathered in tows and threes. Ms. Satchan received the guests.
On the reception table were beautiful flowers presented from Kou and Y-ta of Fukuoka.
The weather was cloudy a little bid, but the breeze was so good at Kantan Circus restaurant of West Oita port. The sales stand was crowded with the guests. Kuro took care of the sales.
Maki and Masami dashed in from Shimonoseki city. They looked like love the seat on the second floor.
Hirokazu Fukata started the party at two p.m.
In the beginning, "2006 afternoon tea original blend as rose and fruit" was served by Hiromi.

The lovely scone was also served by Shizue.
Paddington tea Roomの Miss Paddington (Kumiko) made a few words.
The tea party has turned its 11th anniversary. All the guests enjoyed each other.
I enjoyed the chatting with my close friend Maki on the terrace on the back ground music of "The pianist on the boat" played by Fukada. I felt if I were on the beach of Atlantic Ocean.
The pianist Fukada made greetings to the guests.
Grape fruit scone.
Pianist Takahashi started the second session.
Kumiko served around the guest table.
Fritz Kreisler's "The joy of love" and "Beautiful romance" fascinated me.
Tea-related books were on sale.
Fukada and Takahashi played a piano together.
Good party continued.
I found a couple from overseas. I brought tea for them and enjoyed talking. They were from the Netherlands. Their son studies in Oita University and they were going to visit Shikoku Island by ferry from this port. Bon Voyage!
The pleasant party was closing. Mr. Ninomiya of "Umi Tamago" aquarium near here.
The guests enjoyed much today.
