| Japanese February 16, 2006: Spring rain | |
| | It has been raining since last night here in Oita. As the first day of spring was over, it seems that each rain brings next warmer day. |
| "An Ume blossom brings another warmth according to its
size." This "Haiku", or Japanese short poem, is true as I see small Ume flowers in my garden. | |
| | Daffodils are in full bloom under the Ume tree. All the flowers head down by the rain, though. |
| Hello Julian! | |
| | So many buds of camellia in the center of the garden are about to bloom. |
| I found the first flower at last. Yes, spring is approaching steadily one step after another on each warm rain. | |
