February 16, 2006: Spring rain
It has been raining since last night here in Oita. As the first day of spring was over, it seems that each rain brings next warmer day.
"An Ume blossom brings another warmth according to its size."
This "Haiku", or Japanese short poem, is true as I see small Ume flowers in my garden.
Daffodils are in full bloom under the Ume tree. All the flowers head down by the rain, though.
Hello Julian!
So many buds of camellia in the center of the garden are about to bloom.
I found the first flower at last.

Yes, spring is approaching steadily one step after another on each warm rain.
