November 26-28: Autumnal color in Tatsuno city
I visited my mother home in Tatsuno City. I stopped over at Himeji I used to visit in my young days and walked around Miyuki arcade.
Himeji Castle is a national treasure of Japan and one of the world heritage. I had visited the castle many times as well.
The castle is sometimes called "White egret castle" due to its view from afar. The design of the manhole cover was just like that.
I changed the train to Kishin line at Himeji and got off at Hon-Tatsuno station. I crossed Tatsuno bridge by a taxi. My dear old small hill Keirousan welcomed me as usual.
November 27: Autumnal color viewing.
Shuentei garden was in its best. Many picture takers enjoyed the beautiful color.
I walked down to Tatsuno castle.
Tatsuno castle is a small palace of a local feudal lord. Even cherry leaves turned into red color.
Tatsuno is famous for soy sauce production. The soy sauce museum attracts many visitors.
I enjoyed good products of Belgium.
November 28: Walking around the small town.
Shuentei garden was shining beautifully in the late autumnal sunlight. This was the best shot point.
My mother prepared us Japanese traditional tea with a simple ceremony.
Yesterday, I bought a new digital camera. I tried its various function today including video taking and close up.
Today's lunch was very big for me.
Now, it's time to say good-bye to my daughter-in-law. She headed east and I got on a Shinkansen train to west.
The Shinkansen carries us to Kokura station in two hours.
I arrived at Oita and took a simple dinner of "dumpling noodle."
This is the first movie on my homepage.
It was taken by a digital camera, not by a video camera.
