October 8, 2003: Whim gardening
I have long been concerned about the cleaning of my garden. The other day, I found an item like this, solar light. It triggered me to start the cleaning.
I set it up and put into the soil.
The square panel on the top is a solar cell. Unfortunately, we had many clouds in daytime, but it worked in night with faint blue light.
We have cool morning and evening on those days. I buried autumnal bulbs shallowly in the ground.
They will bloom as yellow and red tulips or colorful hyacinth in the ground or in the planters.
I also scattered seeds of Colorado flower presented from my friend. I hope to see them. Last time it bloomed in consecutive two years, you know.
The blue flower is a part of what I planted last year.
