Japanese August 30, 2002: The second "Chelsea Club" meeting
	Typhoon #15 is raging over here in Oita. The ferry boat prepares for departure but I wonder if it can sail out under the heavy black cloud.
Ina corner of the ferry terminal is a remodeled warehouse called "Kantan Club." The door is kept open wide and many beautiful flower pods dot the site.
Many round tables decorated with flower pods are here and there in the house. Yes, we will have the second meeting of "Chelsea Club" tonight. Many flower lovers are already on the tables.
Some attendants brought-in beautiful bouquets. They are quickly arranged on the table.
Ms. Hara, the representative of the Club, makes a few words at the opening.
The 2002 activities reports and money report were followed with a wonderful topic. Beppu branch was recently born. The members of the branch showed up on the stage and got a big applause from the attendants.
	"In the next year, The 20th Oita Green Fair will be held and we hope to take part in it", Mr. Miura, the representative of Teos regional marketing research, appealed to the members.
Yonozu village dispatched the meeting Mr. Okumura, a member of Yonozu village office's industrial promotion section, who reported on Mother land festival contest. We enjoyed hot grilled sardine, a present from him.
	After many reports, Ms. Ohki, the general secretariat of Chelsea Club, filmed up a European garden tour in June by the members concerned. All the attendants sighed.
The presented bouquet just a few minutes ago was arranged beautifully like this. The yellow books are displayed as well. The rightmost is a genuine yellow book from England. Next left is Okayama prefecture7s book, and three books on the left are from Hokkaido Island. They all introduce the gardens opened to the public. Some of Chelsea members wanted to make a book like those. Click the left picture to enlarge.
