During we are complaining of the heat of late summer, August is ending. On the last Friday, we had an Internet learning course today as an event of regular off-line-meeting of COARA. |
| The course was held on the second floor of Sophia Plaza in Soft Park. There are six tables in the room with a computer each of them. On the wall are the PR panels of COARA (a leading Internet provider in Oita), from left: infrastructure, picture-related contents, best-of-COARA, abundant contents, and community contents. |  |

The course started at 5:30 p.m. Just after the starting, additional chairs were required for the increasing number of the participants. Some of them brought-in their own PC and enjoy the Internet by connecting the high-speed line. |
| "How to create your homepage" attracted many participants. |  |
  They are very eager to understand how to make a homepage or how to set up an E-mail. |

Two hours passed so quickly. "I still have many thing to ask", many participant were watching a note PC very eagerly. |
| Some of the participants joined the course with children. What a society will come true when the kids become adult? I am expecting for it. I joined the course today after a long time and met many people and talked with them. I have had a good day today. |  |
