March 6: Visiting card, by Mie
One of my close Internet friends came on today and showed me her calling card, saying she made it by using her computer. I was interested and made up my mind to do so as well.

I soon prepared a software and sheets of paper specially designed for making cards.

We need calling cards because we will visit Australia next month. I struggled for a while to create a visiting card in Japanese on one side and in English on the other side. I put an illustration I painted before. I finally designed a form through trial-and-errors.
After several times trial printing, I printed up a sheet like this. Ten cards are printed on single sheet.

The cards are to be detached carefully from the cutting line.
Here we are. On the left are my husband's cards with an illustration of poppy on it. On the right are my cards with an illustration of Mt. Yufu and Mt. Tsurumi I copied on the front from the cover of my homepage. On the back, I put another illustration of tulip.

We were glad to see the result that was much better than we had expected. We already dream scene to call friends in Australia with the visiting cards.
